That's where this review comes in because I've rented cars through Image New York Rent A Car and I know that their counter in the airport is the one that can often save me money -- and can save you money too! But of course it's not just about saving money -- you also want a decent car for the money... Cars, Cars, Cars... It's pretty easy to guess what kind of car you're going to get when you reserve with some companies: I usually get GM cars from Avis (especially Grand Ams when reserving "mid-size"), Hertz usually gives you Fords, Thrifty usually goes with Chryslers (they seem to love the Dodge Stratus).
It's a bit tougher with other companies. Enterprise is often kind of a grab bag, and like them, Image New York Rent A Car doesn't seem to have a preference when it comes to makes and models. That can be a good thing because they tend to have a wider range of vehicle types than some other companies and I'm a firm believer in the old adage that "variety is the spice of life". I like trying new things all the time, and that goes for driving a lot of different kinds of cars. Customer Service Counts:: I like saving money. No doubt about it. But I still like good service and good cars, and I will not shave a couple bucks off the price if it means giving up on things that are important.
