Karaoke on Wheels
The St. Paul Winter Carnival Torchlight Parade, held every year to celebrate the mythical victory of the Vulcans over King Boreas, had a unique entry this year. The entry was comprised of a large red party bus, with the words "Karaoke on Wheels" in large print down the sides. Speakers were blaring the tune "Ring of Fire" from the roof, and the crowd lining the parade route was eagerly singing along. Inside, you could see the people riding were also singing their hearts out, apparently having an absolute blast as well. "It was so much fun just singing, but looking out the window and seeing the crowds singing along just made all of us inside feel so connected to the audience outside. It was so much fun!" said Cory Peterson, owner of Coryoke Rental. "I rent out karaoke gear mostly for house parties, but every once in a while I like to take a ride in the old karaoke party bus".
