1. Unique campaigns - Find a product or service that is niche. If it is new, appealing, or something you would purchase as a prospective buyer, than you have something that could generate revenue with. Affiliate programs that allow you to sell insurance plans, electronics, or loan services are very typical. And you will run into an enormous amount of competition.
2. Offline marketing campaigns - with the gamut of websites out there promoting affiliate products or services, very few affiliate programs enable offline marketing. What if you could sell a product to a REAL person at a REAL business around the corner from where you live and generate revenue? What if you could engage in affiliate marketing both on your website AND offline in your local area??Duh, that would be great but how can an affiliate be credited for sales in a campaign like this if there are no linking capabilities? How can I tell someone to visit, for example, www.abc.com/affiliate=?1234$367adsfadsf, and expect a sale????Simple. Promotional codes. When you signup for most affiliate campaign programs, you will probably receive some sort of ID or code in addition to your unique URL. In fact, if the campaign you are interested in uses www.idevaffiliate.com, you will probably receive a 3 digit code that is attached to the end of your ?unique? URL. Potential clients can then enter your three digit code into a box before they pay.
3. Recurring and lifetime payments - look for a program that offers you the ability to generate commissions for future purchases by referred clients. This is a unique system, which is mainly used for subscription based websites such as magazines, hosting subscriptions, or our website at www.cityslick.net/idev/. For example, at www.cityslick.net/idev/, if an affiliate refers company X to list their business in our directory, than the affiliate receives compensation for that subscription on a monthly basis. The affiliate will also receive notification of the name and type of business that signed up under their affiliate ID via email or thee affiliate?s user control panelIf Company X then RENEWS their subscription later on, CitySlick?s campaign will credit the affiliate again for another sale without the affiliate having to do anything. Of course, the likelihood for a renewal increases if affiliates stay in contact and follow up, however.
4. 2nd Tiering - An addition tier allows you to promote the affiliate program you signed up for to other individuals and organizations looking to affiliate. You will then earn a percentage of sale off how the new affiliate?s performance indefinitly. BEWARE OF PYRAMID SCHEMES. If a program allows tiering greater than 2, than it is clearly a pyramid scheme. Do not let those affiliate programs grab you under their ?make millions while doing nothing? pitch. 2nd tiering is generous, but you will make much more by selling the products you are affiliated with by yourself.

Online Auctions
I've been looking for an alternative to larger auction sites ... so far I found a few good sites. The best one I have come across is http://www.onlineauctionexchange.com No Listing Fees, No Commission or End-of-Auction Fees. Registration is free and only takes a few minutes, No credit card required. List your goods and services for a fraction of what you will pay eBay. They give you $10 of auction credit just for signing up ... this could be a nice way to start out with a new site. Use this credit toward auctions or to open up your own online store. Nice website ... a must see. This could be a very easy way to make money ... and unlike ebay you have very little if anything to loose. Go around to you local yard sales and find treasures other people may be willing to pay big money for.
